The interesting thing, though, is that the sound input works. In my opinion if you use any video capture devices stick with nVidia or Intel IGP based desktopnotebook, youll save yourself a bunch of time. Only used Linux as WinTV 6 at the time period was awful under Vista on my Thinkpad T61 but WinTV 7.x is a huge improvement.

When I try to install the driver from the software CD, the installation fails.
